The location is excellent, the suite sufficiently large and well furnished, the meals are good
the staff in the restaurant is friendly but untrained - in a 4-star hotel you should be able to expect more qualified staff

Amazing staff and facilities!
We loved the pool, super clean and perfect for the kids. Food at the restaurant was delish, especially the breakfast! Just a bit of a wait for our room, but that's alright. The room was spacious, comfy, and right by the water, a great view to wake up to!

The staff were excellant and could not be faulted, the young restuarant staff were so attentive. I was there with elderly relations from cananda and they were very impressed with the level of service and friendlyness of the staff. They commented the the service in scottish hotels had certainly improved over the years.
If I had to make one negative comment it would be that I had emailed the hotel directly requesting that my relatives be given a room with a view - the view was the roof of an exteriour building. I spoke to a couple of other guests and found that they were single occupancy business men and both had rooms with beautiful views - I was a bit disappointed by this.
